New homes for foreign buyers in Sydney

30 new townhouse projects in and around Sydney, priced $970,000 to $4,180,000. A foreign person can buy a new dwelling with FIRB approval, or under a developer’s exemption certificate that covers the project. In New South Wales foreign buyers pay a 9% surcharge on top of stamp duty, and a land tax surcharge of 5% of land value.
