How it works

Nothing in your plan is a guess. Each number comes from a page you can read yourself.

FAQ

About the plan

Do I need to have chosen a property?

No. The plan works from your situation, your state or city and your budget. It is built for people who are still deciding, and it tells you what to check before you commit to a particular project.

Is the plan advice?

No. It is general information worked out from the ATO fee schedule and each state revenue office’s published surcharge rates. It is not legal, tax, migration or financial advice, it is not a FIRB application and it does not predict whether an application will be approved.

Why do you ask for my phone number?

A sales consultant who works with property developers may contact you about projects that fit, and many overseas buyers prefer WhatsApp or a call. We pass your details to them only because you asked for the plan, and we say so before you send the form.

What if I do not want a consultant to contact me?

Then please do not send the form. Everything in the plan is also on our free guides, including the fee calculator and the state surcharge guide.

Can you get me FIRB approval?

No. We do not lodge or process applications, and we are not part of the Foreign Investment Review Board or the ATO. You apply to the ATO yourself, or some developers hold an exemption certificate that covers buyers in their project.

What is the optional loan introduction?

If you tick it, we pass only your name, contact details and the purpose (a home loan for an Australian property purchase) to a licensed Australian mortgage broker. We may receive a fee or commission from the broker or lender, and you pay us nothing. We do not discuss loan products or help with applications.
